The Sheriff in Valorant is the most expensive Sidearm, costing 800 CREDS.
We think it's a waste of money on pistol rounds where you start with just 800 CREDS, but a fantastic cheap option for light buy/near full save rounds.
With the exception of the Shorty that can one-shot opponents at very close ranges, the Sheriff is the only sidearm that can one-shot enemies even if they have full health and Heavy Shields.
This Valorant gun does 160 damage from 0-30m, though its damage falls to 145 beyond these distances. This means it will take at least two shots to kill an enemy at 30+ meters if they have full health and Heavy Shields.
The Sheriff's semi-automatic primary fire is quite accurate on its first shot, but shooting too quickly can greatly reduce its accuracy on follow up shots.
While we wouldn't spend up for the Sheriff in pistol rounds, it's a fantastic option for light buy rounds. For just 800 CREDS, it gives you the potential to win rounds that you should lose thanks to its one-shot ability.
For those of you who played CS:GO, you can think of the Sheriff like the Desert Eagle.
Finally, the Sheriff is one of just a few guns with "High" wall penetration. It can do a ton of damage to opponents through penetrable surfaces.
