Check out the Shorty stats table and read our guide below for more information.
|Capacity||Wall Penetration||Fire Type|

|Per Pellet (15 total)-36 (0-9m)-24 (9-15m)-9 (15-50m)||Per Pellet (15 total)-12 (0-9m)-8 (9-15m)-3 (15-50m)||Per Pellet (15 total)-10 (0-9m)-6 (9-15m)-2 (15-50m)|
The Shorty only has a 2-round magazine capacity, but can do tremendous damage at close ranges. This shotgun pistol fires 15 pellets, each of which can do 36 damage to the head, 12 damage to the body, and 10 damage to the legs within 9 meters.
These damage numbers allow you to one-shot enemies at very close ranges. The spread of the pellets and damage drop off, however, make this gun very weak beyond these distances.
While the Shorty can be devastating to an opponent within 5-10 meters or so, its lack of range and very limited capacity severely limit the gun's role.
It's best for holding close to corners in the hopes of dropping a solo enemy, then upgrading to their weapon. If you face multiple opponents, you'll likely be traded due to the Shorty's low capacity and slow fire rate, though this can still be useful for hurting the other team's economy.
Fighting opponents in the open is not recommended, as other guns have a superior range and rate of fire.
For these reasons, we typically only recommend the Shorty for Defenders in near full save/light buy rounds. On Defense, it's easier to hold angles and wait to catch enemies up close.
