The Vandal, along with the Phantom, are both full-automatic Valorant Rifles that cost 2900 CREDS.
While the Phantom has damage drop-offs beyond certain distances, the Vandal does 156 damage to the head, 39 to the body, and 33 to the legs at ALL distances.
This means you can one-shot headshot enemies, even if they have full health and Heavy Shields, from anywhere on the map.
The trade-offs for this is the Vandal has slightly more bullet spread, a slightly slower rate of fire, and holds 5 fewer bullets in its magazine.
When hip-firing, the Vandal can shoot 9.25 rounds per second. The rate of fire decreases a bit when aiming down the gun's sights (1.25x zoom) to 8.32 rounds per second.
When your money permits, you should pretty much always buy the Vandal, Phantom, or Operator Sniper. These three options are the best Valorant Weapons.
However, we'd often choose a cheaper gun with Heavy Shields and certain abilities over the best guns when you have limited Creds.
While high-level streamers and pro Valorant players are split between the Phantom and Vandal, we personally favor the Vandal for its higher damage at long distances.
